Favourite item of March 2016

Hello everyone,

Honestly, I originally planned to be very active on my blog, and post about three times a week. However, I have recently been busy (and I am going to be until May) because of studying and school duties, so I am kind of grateful to find a little space in my schedule to write at least once a week, so here I go.

Today I would like to show you the favourite of mine for March 2016, which is this black lace crop top (which in my pictures does not really look cropped but yes, it is) from Tally Weijl.

On a trip with my friends a couple of days ago I styled it with a metallic mini skirt (Reserved), my beloved trenchcoat (Zara), a brown fake leather satchel (New Yorker), and black ankle boots (Deichmann).

Details are what makes the outfit unique, therefore I added some minimalistic pieces of jewellery, all of them from H&M.

Accessory essentials

Hello everyone,

I already wrote about Wardrobe essentials but today I will focus on another part of the wardrobe, which makes the outfit unique, embellished, and somehow more done – accessories! All of the garments mentioned below you should own in neutral colours, such as black, white and beige. However, purchase colourful ones as well, they look gorgeous, too. So let’s start from the head, and continue towards the toe.

Hats

According to my experience, I know that not all people are brave enough to wear a hat, and I have no idea why. So do not worry and make your outfit special and cover your head with a hat.

Sunglasses

Of course, because of dark circles under your eyes after yesterday’s party or you just do not want to go blind in summer.

Scarves

Right now I am not talking about regular winter scarf. I mean a scarf more like a kerchief. You can make your outfit easygoing or polished with different types of kerchiefs.

Belts

At least one regular belt and one waist belt, which makes your waist look smaller. The outfit will never feel boring.

Bags

Everyone  has a bag, of course, to store all of their belongings. But various occasions require various types of bags. I think a clutch, a tote, and a crossbody or a satchel are the key pieces.

Shoes

I was writing about this addictive to purchase kind of garment in the wardrobe essentials. But today we will have a look at shoes quite deeply.

I. Pumps

This is the absolute essential of a woman’s wardrobe. If you do not own at least one comfortable pair of pumps in a neutral colour make sure you will get one soon.

II. Ankle boots

These work amazing for different every-day fashion situations, especially in autumn and winter.

III. Flats

You can combine them basically with everything, and wherever you want.

IV. Sneakers

Because you never know when you might do a lot of walking or take up exercising.

V. Heeled sandals

Perfect for summer long nights.

Colour of spring 2k16: Serenity Blue

Hello everyone,

In today’s short article we will have a look at next hot colour for spring 2016 which is Serenity Blue.

FullSizeRender (2)

Serenity blue is really serene (obviously), and girly kind of blue. Being covered in this colour makes you feel like wearing cornflower meadow or lying in a blue candyfloss.

IMG_1475It is a splendid girly blue tone perfect for girls and women who do not feel comfortable wearing sweet spring-ish colours, such as some pinky shades.

As said in the last post, Serenity Blue is a good friend with Rose Quartz.

Colour of spring 2k16: Rose Quartz

Hello everyone,

Let me introduce you my mini series where I am going to present you what colours are hot this season. So let’s start with the first one, and my obsolutely favourite.

I suppose you all know the hit of AW2015 – rose gold, now we have the rose quartz, colour inspired by the beautiful mineral. This is a stunning tender colour which revels spring, blooming flowers, and its fresh new-born scent.

FullSizeRender (1)This shade of pink is gorgeous in combination with another colour of this spring which is serenity. What a girly combination, right?

IMG_1461Do not be worried about being covered in this colour from head to toe, many celebrities do that as well.

Wardrobe essentials

Hello everyone,

To build the perfect style your wardrobe does not have to count hundreds or thousands pieces. All you need are just a few garments which you can combine with each other, and create the perfect outfit for the day.

Trenchcoat

The classic and timeless coat which you can wear whole autumn and winter. Plus appropriately chosen coat can conjure you up an amazing silhouette.

IMG_1450

Pullover

Yeah, cozy sweather is always handy.

Blouse

This one is not perfect just for days in work, it is a great garment for every day wearing.

Little black dress

Because sometimes you have nothing to wear to a party or a meeting, and having a well-fitng little black dress in your wardrobe is always an advantage.

Little white dress

This is my absolute favourite. Well, white colour in general is my favourite. If LBD is a classic, then for me LWD is the new classic. Who would not like to look super tenderly?

IMG_1451

Moto jacket

Perfect spring and early autumn garment. Try to combine with a white blouse.

Blazer

Same as the white blouse, wear it to work meetings or when you just want to look chic.

Tees

I suppose this is obvious. Long-sleeve, short-sleeve, etc. Colours such as black, hite or beige are essential. And do not forget about stripped one!

Trousers

Obviously, again. Black, white, and jeans of course.

Skirt

Yes, because women love to wear skirts. Keep eye on leather mini ones and A-line ones.

IMG_1452

Pumps

You should definitely please your little black and little white dress with several pairs of pumps in neutral colours.

Sneakers

Since not all of us are Carrie Bradshaw-like to wear heels all day, we have to own some comfortable shoes, as well.

What you should do in spring

Spring is the time when we all want to shred not only these winter coats (which I am actually really in love with) and wear something lighter. Well, this is not meant just for our wardrobes. So here are my few tips you should stick to this (and every) spring.

IMG_1535

1.    Sticking to your already given up New Year’s resolution

Maybe you wanted to lose some weight, get fit (so as my resolution has been) or perhaps you wanted to run a new blog (which has been my second resolution). You were determined to stick to your new lifestyle, and/or going to the gym three times a week. On the 1st of January you were ready to follow your plan but few months later you are at the same place you were before – nowhere.

What about taking it up again? I guess you do not need a specific date in calender to change anything in your life, and tell me, when is better time to start than right now?

2.   Detox

Yes, because your body needs to cleanse time by time, and if you really want to start new, hopefully healthy lifestyle, this is great way to kick off. Even if it is just water with cutted lemons or 30 minutes of walk every day.

3.    Sort out wardrobe

So you still believe you will one day wear that over patterned sweather your grandma gave you, and you have not thrown it away just because you thought it would break her heart? How sweet! You know what? Get rid of it, now! Or you will have a wardrobe full of pieces like this.

Get rid of all those clothes you did not thrown away last year because you thought you would wear it but you did not. You would be surprised of wearable pieces buried in your wardrobe which you can wear again, and which you completely forgot about.

4.    Shopping

Out with the old, and in with the new. You must refill what you have thrown away. The Fashion Week takes place in Paris right now, so get inspired, take your BFF, and shop new goodies for your ransacked wardrobe.
