January is officially gone, and I’ve got a bunch of stuff I loved throughout the month. So, without any further ado, let’s get into it!
YouTube channel: MsRosieBea
I might have already mentioned at some point that I watch YouTube a lot. I don’t even own a TV. And beside my all-time favourite YouTubers, every now and then I come across a new one who has me obsessed with them. In January, it was MsRosieBea. She’s a British student of Fashion Design and she’s got a lot of videos about what she wears as well as makeup looks and tips. Long story short, I spent almost the entire month watching all of her videos.
I bought these headphones about six months ago and I’ve been using them just sparingly because I usually use my earpods. But they stopped working and I didn’t want to buy a new one because I’m thinking about purchasing a new iPhone 8 Plus which comes with earpods. So, I reached for my SkinnyDip headphones which I purchased in Topshop and I absolutely adore them. I never thought about headphones as accessories. They are great! I mean the sound quality is not outstanding but for someone like me, they are perfect. They are small and they don’t look hilarious on my head. Also, can we appreciate the rose quartz vibe?
Boyfriend Ripped Jeans
A couple of days ago, I did a clothing haul here on my blog. One of the items included were boyfriend ripped jeans. Let me tell you, I haven’t taken them off since then. They are so comfortable and they surprisingly look so good on me! My hips are pretty much the largest feature of my body. I mean, they are not overly huge. They are just womanly. Thus, I thought that boyfriend jeans wouldn’t suit me because I assumed that they look good only on skinny girls so I stayed away from them. They are going to be featured in my next month’s lookbook, so stay tuned!
Umberto Giannini Miracle Worker Smooth Serum
This month I did something that I didn’t think I would do anytime soon. I cut my hair! Well, I was thinking about it for some time, but I never did it because I always wanted a really long hair and completely ignored how damaged my hair was. I was putting the thought aside until one morning when I was literally horrified by the condition of my hair, so I grabbed my scissors and chopped off around 10cm of the length. I promised myself that I would take good care of my hair and I’ve been loving this serum. I use it every time I wash my hair. I apply it on the ends when my hair is still wet and then I apply it before I go to bed and sometimes even before I go out to make my hair super shiny. It leaves my hair incredibly soft without making it greasy. And it also smells really nice!
Botanics Purifying Face Scrub and Cleansing Foam Wash
I tend to change my cosmetics quite often. That’s because I love trying something new. This month I ran out of both my facial cleanser and scrub which apart of rose water and aloe vera gel are the only things I put on my skin. And water of course. And makeup but that’s a different topic. So, I went to Boots looking for an affordable cleanser and scrub and found these from Botanics. My skin feels rejuvenated every time I use them. They are both lightly scented so if you’ve got a super sensitive skin then they might not be the right choice for you but otherwise, I would give them a try.
O, my God! I haven’t been obsessed with a single colour for I don’t even know how long. But this month the pink colour has me completely. I bought some pink home decor stuff, I switched my phone wallpaper to a pink one and I try to wear my pink garments on every occasion. The only downfall is that I don’t own that much pink clothing items.
And that’s it for today’s post. I hope you enjoyed and see you soon!
