Leather Trousers // Six Different Ways

Hello, everyone!

Today, I’m going to do something different than I usually do. In today’s post, I’m going to show you how to style pleather trousers. I’m currently obsessed with faux leather, and I think it goes with pretty much everything. In this lookbook, I will focus on both casual and party outfits. This is a lookbook rather than a how-to guide that will specifically tell you what garments or accessories to combine with leather trousers. So, that’s enough of rambling and let’s get into it!

Casual outfits

For the first outfit idea, I picked my new high-waisted pleather trousers from New Look. I love combining pleather with faux fur, so I paired the trousers with my faux fur jacket from Bershka. Underneath, I’m wearing a simple grey roll-neck T-shirt from Pull&Bear. Sometimes pleather with faux fur can be too much. In these cases, it’s better to add just something simple.

For my feet, I picked these lovely embellished ankle boots from Forever 21. The rings are from Pandora and the watch is from Just Cavalli.

You don’t have to stick to just one pleather item. You can also combine pleather with pleather! Here, I’m once again wearing the same pair of faux leather trousers, and I paired it with my pleather jacket from Takko Fashion.

Underneath, I’m wearing my white shirt from Primark. You can’t go wrong with a simple white shirt.

For shoes, I once again picked the black Forever 21 ankle boots from the previous outfit.

You can transform this casual outfit into a smart one just by swapping the pleather jacket for a blazer and the ankle boots for high heels!

Outfit no. III

For the last casual outfit of this lookbook, I wanted to create something sporty. The best thing about this outfit is that it doesn’t actually feature any athleisure. There’s nothing wrong with wearing sports clothes. However, I personally don’t wear them unless I actually work out.

So, I’m still wearing the same pair of New Look pleather trousers, and this time I combined it with my grey Calvin Klein Jeans T-shirt. Over it, I put my black coat from Stradivarius.

To actually add the sporty touch to this outfit, I’m wearing my white Converse trainers.

Party outfits

For the first party outfit, I’m wearing my Bershka pleather trousers, and I paired them with this metallic dress from Forever 21.

To accentuate my waist, I added this wide silver belt also from Forever 21.

To add even more glam to this outfit, I’m also wearing my golden set of necklaces from Primark.

I wanted to show you that you don’t always have to wear high heels to a party if you don’t feel like it. So, I combined this outfit with my trusty ankle boots from Forever 21.

Outfit no. II

The second outfit is rather smart. I took my New Look pair of pleather trousers and combined it with my black blazer dress from Bershka.

To fill the low V-neck a little bit, I’m wearing the same necklace from the previous outfit. If you don’t feel brave enough to wear it just like this or want to make it smarter, that you can wear a white shirt underneath the blazer.

On my feet, I’m wearing my black pointy pumps from Tally Weijl.

Outfit no. III

I’m positive that this is the most daring outfit I’ve ever shown you. And to be completely honest with you, I adore this look! I’m wearing my high-waisted pleather trousers from New Look and paired it with my new obsession, a pink faux fur jacket from Bershka.

Underneath, I’m wearing, well, pretty much nothing! I’m wearing just a black triangle bralette from New Look and the same piece of jewellery from the two previous outfits.

To make this look even more furry/feathery, I paired it with my feathery high-heel sandals from Primark.

And that’s it for this post! I hope you enjoyed and perhaps learned something new!

See you soon!

xoxo, S. V.
