What I Eat in a Day #5

Hello everyone!

Today I’d like to show you what I eat in a day. It’s been a while since I’ve posted one of those. And so I thought I would show you my current favourite meals I eat in a day. So let’s dive straight into it!

Breakfast

My current obsession when it comes to breakfast is salads. Okay, that sounds weird. Let’s call it nourish bowls, shall we? I pretty much put some spinach and iceberg lettuce into a bowl and add whatever vegetables I have at the time. In this instance, it was carrot shreds, purple cabbage shreds, 1/3 of courgette, 1/2 of orange bell pepper, and 1/4 of avocado. Then I top it off with hummus because hummus is life, and add an egg or two. I also like to cut a clove of garlic and add it to my brekkie. I’ve recently broadened my knowledge of natural antibiotics, so I’ve been trying to implement them in my diet. And then I drink my cup of green tea because otherwise, I’m grumpy all day if I don’t.

Lunch

Conveniently a couple of days after I decided to do this post I was kindly invited to Suppa in London. It’s a stay-in or takeaway restaurant (or you can order your food online and have it delivered to the comfort of your home!) located in Holborn. All of the meals are super healthy and affordable.

I had the Rio Style veg hot box, and it was super tasty. It consisted of brown rice and side vegetables topped off with a sauce including beans, quinoa, and cashew nuts. It was a bit spicy but not too much. Just about right. I highly recommend! If you happen to be near Holborn definitely pop in. The address is 20 Holborn Viaduct, EC1A 2AT. Even if you don’t tend to be in this area often, pay a visit to this place because it’s really worth it, and I think more people should know about this place!

Dinner

For dinner, I like to have veggie stir-fry. Or more like a stir-steam. Let me explain. I put some frozen veggies in a pan – in this case, peas, carrot, corn, green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, and butternut squash, and stir it until it’s done. So you see? It’s stirred but not fried because I don’t add any oil. When it’s done, I grate some ginger on top of it and add some spices. I like to sprinkle it with some turmeric and a tiny bit of cayenne pepper. And that’s it!

And that’s all I eat in a day. As you can see, I’ve done some slight changes to my diet, but I want to update you on that in a different post. I hope you enjoyed!
