March 2018 Favourites

Hello everyone!

The end of March is here, and it means one thing. That I’m going to show you my March favourites! This month it’s quite random but I hope you’ll enjoy anyway! Let’s get into it!

Botanics Nourishing Facial Oil

I saw this product randomly on someone’s Instagram. They described the product basically as a miracle. Apparently, it’s supposed to clear your skin of blemishes, dry patches, and simply turn your skin into a glowing wonder on your face. I took it with a grain of salt. Instagram made me buy over-extolled products in the past, which didn’t live up to its hype.

Let me tell you, my blemishes didn’t magically disappear. Unsurprisingly! BUT my skin is naturally dry, and of course, it gets even worse in the cold wintery weather and leaves me with dry patches around my mouth and nose. Only after a couple of days applying this oil on my skin before going to bed, my skin is dry patches-free. So for me, this is a win-win!

Primark Intense Eyelashes

I don’t wear fake eyelashes often. I used to when I was 17, had major insecurities, and was wearing a ton of makeup to hide them. And I haven’t really worn fake eyelashes since then. I still love the statement look they give to your eyes, and for that reason, I tend to wear several layers of mascara. However, this month I’ve had the worst luck when it comes to mascaras. I used to wear Maybelline mascaras but then I decided to give a try to cruelty-free brands. My search for a suitable mascara didn’t go well. None of the ones I bought gave me the desirable finish. And FYI, I hate the Better Than Sex Mascara.

So, I decided to give fake eyelashes another try because I refuse to purchase a new mascara every week. And since I wanted to keep it affordable, I went to Primark. As you can see from the picture, I stayed within the cheapest 1GBP range. And these eyelashes are just perfect for me. They emphasise my eyes but don’t hide them entirely. Which unfortunately is something that some fake lashes do. My eyes are quite small and round so I tend to cut them in half and use them just on the outer part of my upper lashes to get the winged look.

Clear Starbucks Mug

I told you this post was going to be random! Okay, I have a thing for anything white, pink, rose gold, marble, and clear. Obviously, not necessarily all at once. So I went to Starbucks the other day (as I do pretty often these days), and saw this beautiful mug there. A couple of minutes later, I was a paper bag heavier and around 10GPB poorer. Actually, I can’t remember how much it cost.

Pink Marble iDeal of Sweden Case

You know what I realised a couple of days ago? That the Law of Attraction works even when I’m not trying. Last month I bought a new iPhone 8 Plus. And since then I was on a hunt for a new case, preferably pink or marble. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find one that I would really like. I like to keep my phone in an aesthetically pleasing case. A few weeks went by and I was contacted by iDeal of Sweden, a brand that makes the most stylish phone cases I’ve ever seen.

They reached out to me to ask me if I wanted to collab with them. Of course, I did! And the result is this beautiful case and a discount code SARAVIKTORIE for all of my followers and subscribers. If you want to purchase your own case on iDeal of Sweden and use this discount code, you’ll get 20% off! So you see? A pretty random example of unintentional manifestation.

Rose Gold Chain Choker

Apart from everything rose gold, I also love anything boho. And this gorgeous choker from Primark is giving me some serious boho vibes. It’s really pretty and goes with essentially any outfit. You’ll see this necklace in a lot of my upcoming OOTDs.

And last but not least, I’ve got a couple of songs that I was listening to on replay this month:

  • 5 Seconds of Summer – Want You Back
  • Dua Lipe – New Rules
  • Uplink feat. NK – To Myself

If you made it this far I only have to congratulate you! That’s all! I know it was really random but that’s expected from monthly favourites, right?

See you soon!

xoxo, S. V.
