July 2018 Favourites

Hello everyone!

It’s the beginning of August and that means that in today’s post I’ll be sharing my favourites and obsessions of the past month with you. So without any further ado, let’s get into it!

M&S Dark Chocolate

I’m a huge chocoholic. I can’t live without chocolate. Earlier in July, I was craving a good dark chocolate so I went to my local M&S and found this little beauty. Apparently, the cocoa beans used to make this chocolate come from Guadalcanal, Solomon Islands. This chocolate is everything I was looking for. The bar weighs only 45g, so it’s much smaller than the usual chocolate bars you find in the sweet treats aisle. Therefore, I don’t feel guilty after wolfing down the entire thing. I just can’t not finish a chocolate bar. And in case you’re wondering, there’s no chocolate left here in this picture. It’s just an empty package.

Moringa Powder

I wanted to buy some healthy green powder to add to my smoothies, but my local Holland&Barrett didn’t have spirulina in stock. As a replacement, I picked Moringa instead. If you can remember, in my June Favourites I featured Moringa tea by Ebou Njie. Therefore I was intrigued when I saw this powder on the shelf. As you can see from the packaging, it’s full of fibre, iron, calcium, protein, Vitamin E and Vitamin K. Later when searching for the benefits of this powder, I found out that it’s actually even more nutritious than spirulina. It has quite a strong flavour so I’m really resourceful with it. Like I said, I add it to my smoothies or in my special health-boosting juice I drink in the morning. You can get your Moringa powder here.

Victoria’s Secret Crystal Sand Fragrance Mist

This mist is in fact a limited edition from last summer. However, it smells so divine that I was saving it all year so I could wear it this summer again. The scent is a combination of peach and blonde woods. I don’t know how familiar you are with the brand Oriflame, but it was very popular in my country when I was younger. They were making fragrances for young girls among other things, and each of them was scented like a certain fruit. I used to own  peach-scented one, and this VS mist smells exactly like the Oriflame one. Well, not exactly. This is a more grown up version of the Oriflame fragrance. You can buy a bottle of this mist here. But hurry up, there’s only a few left.

Lush Mask of Magnaminty

I’ve used this mask many times, and it helped my breakouts every single time. I had a couple of spots I needed to get rid of as soon as possible so I re-purchased this mask. I’m not going to lie, it’s an expensive mask but it’s definitely worth it. The ingredients are all natural and the product was not tested on animals, which is something I like to support. You can get a tub of this mask here.

New Look Yellow Mustard Top

When I bought this this top a year ago I went through a period of “what was I thinking?”. A year later, I found this top buried in my wardrobe with tags still attached to it. I decided to give it a try and wear it. I’ve been wearing almost all the time since then. You can check out this OOTD where I’m wearing this crop top for some inspiration.

River Island Black Chain Clutch Bag

You could have seen this cute bag with feather in my latest OOTD. Like I said many times, I love unique pieces that can simply create a unique outfit. This picture isn’t doing the bag the justice it should have. It looks much more beautiful in real life. It feels so soft and fuzzy. Just like carrying a cute little animal with me all the time.

  • Celeste Buckingham – Immature
  • Ariana Grande – God is a Woman
  • Kuz & Ayar – Hangin’ On, Pray, No Place Like Home
  • Saara – Superpowers

And these are all of my favourites for July 2018. Hope you enjoyed!

See you soon!

xoxo, S. V.
