Lookbook September 2017

Hello everyone,

This is the last September blog post, which means I will do a September lookbook. Well, to be completely honest with you, I was going to make an absolutely different post. As you might have noticed, the blog works as a sort of transcript for my YouTube videos. I finally found the courage to actually sit down in front of the camera and talk to you, despite being quite self-conscious about my foreign accent, and write a transcript later for the blog. And guess what. My camera, for some reason unknown to me, was not recording the audio for the video, even though it used to. I tried to record multiple different videos to see why it does that but it just doesn’t work. Thank god, I found out just after filming a short rehearsal clip. Let me tell you, I would be f**king upset if I thought I was filming the video and later found out that I didn’t.

Anyway, let’s wrap this rant up. Instead of the original blog post, which will hopefully be here next week, I decided to do a lookbook and share with you my favourite outfits I’ve been wearing this month. I hope you enjoy it. Let’s get into it!

Outfit no. I

This look features a simple white T-shirt from Primark and on top of it, I’m wearing a suedette camel toned beige dress also from Primark. Honestly, I never thought I would like this type of dress, but when I saw them in the shop the other day, I told myself ‘why not?’. Now I’m glad I bought them.

I styled this outfit with my new beige ankle boots from Forever 21, which I’ve been looking for such a long time, but I couldn’t find the perfect pair. Well, now you have it. This look is quite modest with accessories as I chose only a simple black choker from Primark with a golden diamond shaped embellishment on it.

Outfit no. II

This outfit is significantly bolder than the previous one and I love it! The burgundy T-shirt is from Primark. The black skirt, however, is from Tally Weijl.

Those black faux leather vintage style shoes are from Primark. Unfortunately, I have no idea where those black knee-high socks are from. However, I bet my head you can find them in Primark as well. The black hat is from Forever 21. I wanted a hat like this for the longest time but I couldn’t find it anywhere. Like the boots from the previous outfit. Unfortunately, Primark didn’t have hats like this but Forever 21 didn’t disappoint me. Forever 21 never does. The necklaces, which you could have already seen here on my blog, are from Primark.

Outfit no. III

This look was my absolute obsession when I was in the Czech Republic earlier this month. When we arrived from Croatia, my luggage stayed at my dad’s for a day while I was at my mum’s, and so I didn’t have anything to wear. Well, I made an inspection to my mum’s wardrobe and found these black jeans from Pull&Bear there. They are at least two sizes too large for me but that’s probably why I love them so much. Long story short, now they are mine. The white shirt, which I’ve had in my wardrobe for what feels like forever is from Primark and there I bought the black faux fur waistcoat as well. Can we appreciate the waistcoat for a moment? It’s sooooo soft! I’ve been completely obsessed with faux fur and burgundy clothes lately.

The black ankle boots from Forever 21 have been featured in a couple of my previous lookbooks, but never mind. I love them. Another item already used in my lookbooks are the golden necklaces from Primark.

Outfit no. IV

And last but not least comes this simple slightly warmer outfit which is perfect for the chilly September weather but when you don’t necessarily feel like wearing something too warm because it’s usually not so chilly in the afternoon as it is in the morning. The plum-ish/dark purple jumper is from Primark and I paired it with those comfortable black trousers from New Yorker.

The black boots, which make my legs look super long, by the way, are from Deichmann. The choker is from Primark.

So, that’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed this lookbook and don’t forget to check out my YouTube channel as well!

Lookbook Vacation 2017

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to share with you another lookbook. Lookbooks are my most read blog posts and the most watched videos on my YouTube channel, and they are my favourite to create as well. Quite frankly, I was contemplating not posting this particular lookbook at all. You see, it’s already September and this is a summer lookbook. A vacation one, to be exact. It’ already the autumn time but this year I just can’t part with summer and unfortunately I had a late vacation this year and I just fell in love with all of those looks so I decided to post this anyway. I was looking forward all summer to wear these outfits because the English weather was not doing me favour. So, let’s jump straight into it!

Outfit no. I

For the first outfit, I chose a simple white shirt from Primark with the brown vintage style skirt from Forever 21 which you could have already seen in one of my previous lookbooks. The white lacey choker is from Primark as all of my necklaces and chokers.

All of the looks feature these brown high heel sandals from Forever 21 because when we go on a vacay, we need to economise with the stuff we pack into our luggage, right?

Outfit no. II

This one is my definite favourite of this lookbook. I was promenading in this outfit through the streets of Dubrovnik and I received quite a few stunned looks from the fellow passing by tourists. Anyway, the white lacey top is from Forever 21, as well as the maxi skirt, which you could have, once again, already seen in my previous lookbook.

The flower crown, the absolute best part of this entire look as well as my favourite part is from Forever 21, too. Yep, you guessed it right. It’s my go-to place to shop for clothes. I wish I could wear the flower crown more often, you see, I feel like it’s expressing my true nature but I think it’s too much even for London. Besides, as I said, it’s already autumn, and therefore I would look like a freak wearing a summer flower crown in autumn.

Outfit no. III

This outfit was my go-to look when on the beach. The tunic is from Lindex. You expected Forever 21, didn’t you? Nope, no Forever 21 in this look. Well, if you don’t count the sandals. Okay. It was kind of pointless. Anyway, the bikini is from New Yorker, and the necklace is from Primark. I bought the sunglasses at a street market in Dubrovnik because I forgot my trustworthy Ray-Bans and these just caught my eye.

Outfit no. IV

And the last outfit features my greatest obsession of this summer, maxi dress. Well, if I don’t count the flower crown. I guess we all can agree that I’ve been pretty obsessed with fashion this summer. The dress is from Forever 21 and the headband is from Claire’s.

By the way, all the necklaces and rings are my Pandora ones, which I wear in every single lookbook. Yep, I need to pay more attention to these pieces too, and use different jewellery from time to time.

That will be everything for today’s post. Don’t forget to check out my YouTube channel, as well!

See you next time!

Lookbook August 2017

Hello everyone,

Today, I would like to share with you my recent go-to outfits. So, without any further ado, let’s get into it. Just before I start, I’m sorry that this post is rather short, but I’m currently in the process of packing for my trip to Dubrovnik and I had a bit of spare time to write this blog post.

Outfit no. I:

This simple outfit consists of a white T-shirt from Primark and a floral skirt from H&M.

The necklaces are from Primark.

Outfit no. II:

This one is not your typical summer outfit but I think it’s great for the British summer. The black T-shirt is from H&M and the super comfy trousers are from New Yorker. The faux fur waistcoat is from Pull&Bear.

The necklace is from Primark.

Outfit no. III:

This one is my absolute favourite, although this summer hasn’t been nice to me enough so I can’t wear it as often as I would love to. Anyway, the white tank top is from Primark and the maxi skirt is from Forever 21.

To my disappointment, the flower headband from Forever 21, the best part of this outfit, can’t really be seen in the video (check out here), so here’s a better picture of this beauty.

The choker is from Primark.

Outfit no. IV:

The last outfit consists of this burgundy crop top from New Look and high-waisted jeans from Tally Weijl.

The necklaces are from Primark.

Both of the bracelets and all of the rings, which you can spot in all of the outfits are from Pandora.

Once again, I’m sorry that this post is kind of short and straightforward. See you again soon!

Lookbook Summer 2017

Hello everyone,

I feel like I haven’t done a lookbook post in such a long time. Probably because I haven’t. So, let’s just get into it.

Look no. I

I wear a burgundy off-shoulder blouse from New Look, a black faux leather skirt from Tally Weijl and chain necklaces from Primark.

Look no. II

Here I wear a white blouse with lace embellishments from Tally Weijl, a floral skirt, and bracelets from H&M.

Look no. III

This one is probably my favourite, and well, to be honest, the most impractical one as well. But who cares? The burgundy dress T-shirt is from Bershka and the thigh high boots are from New Look. The necklace is from Primark.

Look no. IV

The most casual of the outfits consists of a grey short sleeve T-shirt from River Island and a vintage style skirt from Forever 21. The chokers are from Primark.

P.S. Todays is the magical day when I launched my YouTube channel which means that you can watch this lookbook on a video here and see the details which the camera couldn’t depict in the photos because even though I took the pictures on my iPhone 6 plus it still looks like it was photographed with a potato, lol.

I hope you enjoyed the post and perhaps even the video and see you soon.

Summer 2017 Trends I Like and Don’t Like

Hello everyone,

There are a lot of trends out there going on right now. I don’t religiously follow all of them because quite frankly, I don’t like all of them. I’m aware of trends. I acknowledge them and some of them I just pass by without noticing. For instance, I’m more of a natural colour fan so I’m not really into that bright colour trend. Likewise, the floral pattern/embroidery. It’s super romantic, yes, but it’s just not my kind of style. So let’s look at some more specific trends, shall we?

Sheer materials

Okay, this is not exactly more specific. I guess that after my couple of previous posts you realised this would probably end up on this list. I just love anything see-through at the moment. It makes you feel naked and dressed at the same time, which doesn’t sound so appealing but for some strange reason, it is.

I’m aware this is not a huge trend anymore, but I’m still into it. If you don’t wear them with every single day, they can be a unique accessory that can spice the outfit up. Even a classic choker without any embellishments can upgrade the most boring outfit.

And now let’s talk about the trends I’m not so keen on.

Fishnet tights

I like them on pictures, okay? That’s it. I don’t think I would be able to wear them outside. I’ll save them for my annual prostitute mask for Halloween.

Denim jackets

This one is also not so hot anymore but even back them I just couldn’t fall for it. It’s not exactly my style and I know if I bought a denim jacket, I would wear it once or maybe twice, and then it would be hanging in my wardrobe until I’d decide to dispose of it.

And I guess that’s it for today’s post.

Mesh Obsession

Hello everyone,

Mesh and any kind of sheer material, in general, is huge this season. So let’s have a look at some the best pieces I managed to find for you.

Let’s start with something basic such as this bodysuit from BooHoo.com which is available in different colours than black as well.

But, if you don’t feel brave enough to wear this completely sheer bodysuit, I would have a look at this one from H&M.

Corset Bralet Top

Mesh corsetI fell in love with this piece from River Island. I mean, it’s probably not something I would wear on a daily basis but damn it!

Mesh leggingsFor the sporty girls out there, I’ve got you covered with this leggings from H&M. These are perfect for those days when you’re not sure if you want to wear shorts or actual leggings.

Floral dress

dressThis romantic floral dress from River Island is just stunning! It doesn’t need any more words of praise.

Embroidered Top

topAnd let’s remain in River Island and with the floral pattern. It’s great if you want to look elegant and sexy at the same time.

Or if you fancy something more revealing, I would have a look at this beauty from Forever 21.

And now excuse me, I have some shopping to be done!
